Materials: Milk, a cup, and a container with a tight-fitting lid.

An insulated flask or mug is the best choice when shaking hot milk to froth it as it protects your hands from burning. Alternatively, shake chilled milk and heat it up after frothing.

Instructions:

  1. Find a container that has a tight-fitting lid such as a flask, mason jar, a water bottle, or even an empty milk bottle
  2. Warm enough milk in a microwave or on a stove and avoid overheating or boiling the milk
  3. Add the milk into the container below the half-way line and cover tightly with the cap
  4. Shake the container in an up and down motion for 45-60 seconds or until enough froth has formed
  5. Pour the frothed milk into a cup

  2. Add the milk into a wide bowl so that the milk is below the halfway line

Alternatively, pour the milk into a deep saucepan. Place the saucepan on a stove on medium heat. Wait a few seconds and start whisking the milk as it warms.

  1. Heat up the milk
  2. Add the warm milk into a blending jar and fit the lid tightly
  3. Lock the blender jar into the holder

  5. Blend for 15 seconds and switch the blender off
  6. Add the frothed milk into a cup

4. Froth Milk by Pressing it

  • Remove the lid with the plunger from the chamber
  • Add cold or warm milk into the chamber to a level below the halfway line

  • Press the plunger gently to release air that is trapped in the chamber
  • Continue pumping until enough foam has formed

  1. Add cold or warm milk to a deep bowl or pitcher

  3. Immerse the blades of the blender to just below the surface of the milk

  5. Move the blender gently in a back and forth or up and down motion to add enough air to the milk
  6. Continue frothing until the foam is sufficient
  7. Turn the blender off and dip the blades in freshwater to prevent staining
  8. Pour the frothed milk into a cup
